Complete fit out of new 14 bed long stay patient rooms. This was constructed & finished to the highest possible standards for patient comfort and safety.
New Orthopaedic Theatre
This is a state-of-the-art Laminer air flow theatre where MLC Ltd were involved in all aspects of the construction. We worked closely with sub-contractors & suppliers of highly specialised technical equipment and fixtures.
New Xray room
The completed works involved the installation of a new X-Ray system on the ground floor of Barrington’s Hospital including demolition works to remove existing windows and doors and striping out of old finishes. Installing new lead lining to ceilings, walls and lead lined doors. Grounds for the new x-ray equipment were also installed. MLC worked closely with GE Healthcare and M&E contractors to install the necessary cabling and equipment.
New DCU Unit
MLC worked with Bon Secours to transform an old canteen into a comfortable and airy DCU unit with additional changing areas and waiting room. Particular attention was paid to reducing the dust levels that can pose a risk to patients.
MRI Reception
Works were carried out to the MRI Reception to improve the working environment for staff and the experience of patients.
